Ross has been surrounded by swimming from a young age.  Growing up in Garrett Park, he swam for the Ladybugs from 1996-2008.  During that time, he has held various coaching positions in NCAP, Tollefson Swimming, and GPST.  Ross swam for the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, a school from which he now has a degree in music.  Ross has held the assistant coach position at Garrett Park for six years.  He is honored to lead the Ladybugs as head coach for his third year.

Morgan is very excited to be part of the Garrett Park Swim Team's coaching staff this summer! Since having joined pre-team at age 5, Morgan has looked forward to spending her summers with the Ladybugs. Although this is her first year coaching, swimming has been her favorite past-time since as long as she can remember. As for the time she spends out of the water, Morgan is a proud Georgetown Day School grasshopper. She is delighted to swim for Carleton college in the fall. Morgan will forever bleed red and black. Go bugs!"

Fletcher Tollefson

Assistant Coach

Email

Hey, GPST swimmers and parents, this is Coach Fletcher Tollefson. I am 22 years old, and currently pursing my bachelor’s degree in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech. I have grown up with my 3 older brothers (Ross, Henry, and Andrew) in Garrett Park swimming on the team from ages 6 – 18. I always considered myself a breaststroker. While swimming for Walter Johnson, I captained the team for my last two years. What do I do with my free time? I enjoy hiking, reading up on current news in the space industry, and traveling. I recently studied in Hamburg, Germany and visited a few European cities while I was there. My favorite place was a little town called Skaelskor, Denmark. Anyway, I and the rest of the coaching staff welcome you to the 2016 season on such a wonderful team. Go, Ladybugs!

In addition to swimming for the ladybugs each summer, Holly trains with the RMSC's National Development Group year round. She has helped out with pre-team the last few summers and is very excited to be a pre-team coach this summer. Holly is a rising 8th grader at North Bethesda Middle School. She is looking forward to a great season with all her fellow ladybugs!
