Meghan grew up in
Arlington VA. She was a graduate of American University majoring in
Language and Area Studies and Secondary Education, and was also an
Olympic Trials qualifier in 2000 and 2004. After college Meghan was
the director of the NCAP swim school and assistant coach at
American University before taking on a full time coaching position
with NCAP at Georgetown Prep. A firm believer that swimming is a
lifetime sport that enriches the individual, family, and community
she is very excited to work with anyone who loves the water as much
as she does.
Andrew is a rising senior at NC State University, majoring
in history. He swims for NC State University in the breaststroke
and IM events. Andrew has been a national level swimmer for 7
years. He swam with RMSC throughout all of high school in the
National Training Group under the direction of Scott Vekeman.
Andrew holds numerous records at Garrett Park and RMSC. This is
his second year coaching for Garrett Park. Andrew
is CPR/life guarding certified.
Olivia is a rising sophomore at American
University, where she is a member of the swim team and specializes
in sprint freestyle. In high school, she swam for NCAP, and
now coaches NCAP swim school during the year. This is her
second year coaching for Garrett Park, and her final year swimming
for the team.
