Garrett Park Ladybugs Swim Team

Registration opens soon. Please note:

• Practice starts on May 26, 2026 for swimmers 9 and older and returning 8 & Under team swimmers.
• Pre-season Evaluations for new 8 & Unders and returning pre-team swimmers will be June 1 and 2. Online sign ups will be posted soon. 
• Until MCPS is done, practices will be in the afternoon only. Once school is out, practices will run in the morning and afternoon for all age groups. 
• Our season runs from May 26, 2025 to July 18, 2026. All Stars are July 25 & 26
• Dues 
• Your membership dues cover our coaches’ salaries this year, as always.

Support the Ladybugs!

In order to join the Ladybugs, swimmers should be:

• No older than 18 years old on June 1, 2025
• Able to swim freestyle and backstroke
• Able to try breaststroke and butterfly
• Able to swim multiple lengths of the pool at practice

Note: 2026 Garrett Park Swimming Pool dues must be paid before registering for the swim team. 

Swimmers aged 4 to 8 who may not meet the above qualifications are invited to try out for the Ladybugs Pre-Team. Please see the Pre-Team page for more information.
