Parking: There is a small parking lot directly in front of the pool. Should that lot be full, cars can also be parked along one side of Arora Hills Drive. Parking is also available further up the street at Arora Hills Park. 

Swimmers Arrive: 8:10am - gather in parking lot

Volunteers: Check in with Areps by 8:15am

Garrett Park warm-up:  8:25 AM - 8:45 AM.

Officials Briefing:  8:25 AM.

Timers Briefing: 8:30 AM.

Garrett Park Team Area:  directly to the right upon entering the pool. The area includes a large blue awning with picnic tables. The area will provide shade. However, families are welcome to bring chairs and set them up in the open area next to the awning and picnic tables.

Concessions: the Barracuda Bistro, will be open. However, the bistro will be cash only. The bistro will have candy, bottled drinks, and snacks available for purchase. Please encourage families to bring water if they do not want to purchase.

Programs will not be sold. However, heat sheets will be emailed.

Parking: The pool parking lot will be reserved for our team. There is additional parking on the neighborhood streets.

Warm-ups

4:40 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. PLEASE TRY TO ARRIVE BY 4:25. 

Meet Start Time: 5:15 p.m.

All volunteers should check in with Megan or Elizabeth by 4:55pm in the team area. We will be in red shirts.

Officials will meet on the patio behind Concessions for their meeting with the Referee, Tim Finn, at 5:00 p.m. The timers will meet on the grassy area across from Concessions at 5:05 p.m. for their meeting.

Team Seating Area: As you enter the pool deck, Garrett Park will be to the right of the shallow end. You are welcome to bring a tent.

Time Trials

Warm-up: 8:00 AM

  • Start Time: 9:00am (see warm-up times below)- the meet should run 2-2.5 hours
  • Warm-Ups: Please be ready to get in the water at the warm-up start time, so good to arrive 10 minutes prior:
    • 13-18- 8:00-8:20 AM
    • 12 & under- 8:20-8:40 AM
  • Food and Drink: There will be concessions at the meet. NO CASH - credit cards, venmo, paypal, apple & google wallet all accepted.
  • Weather: The weather looks good, as of now. It will be chilly in the morning, so be sure to have towels and warm clothes.
  • Spirit Wear: The spirit wear team will have a table full of Ladybug Gear. NO CASH - credit cards, venmo, paypal, apple & google wallet all accepted.
  • Meet Program: You can see what heat and lane your swimmer is in for each event. This will be emailed out once finalized, so keep an eye on your email. We will not have printed copies of the program at the meet.
  • Attendance: If your swimmer is signed-up for Time Trials, but isn't able to make it, please let Coach Tommy know: [email protected]
  • Volunteers: Please arrive by 8:25 and check in with the Reps (Monica, Tom & Kate) down by the guard house. The schedule of briefings is below:
    • Stroke & Turn Briefing 8:30 - at the far end of the rec pool
    • Timers Briefing 8:35 - by the guard house
  • Athlete Seating Area: Because Time Trials is only our swim team, we will not implement the athlete seating areas that are planned for dual home meets, so swimmers and families can use the entire hill.
  • Pool chairs - When the meet is over, please help get the deck chairs off the hill and back on the deck where they belong!!

Note from Pool Management: After the meet concludes, families must exit the facility and if they plan to stay and swim, they must go through the main entrance to sign-in.
