We are excited to announce the details for our teen trip this summer. We will be going whitewater tubing on the Shenandoah River at the Harpers Ferry Adventure Center. This trip is for swimmers ages 13+ OR swimmers who are 12 but rising 8^thgraders. Below are a handful of details about the trip.

Date: Monday, July 15^th

Timing: We will be bussing from the GP parking lot at 8:30 am. We will arrive at the adventure center shortly after 10 pending traffic. The whitewater water section of the river takes roughly 1.5-2 hours. Depending on timing, there is a chance we go down the river twice. A daily pass allows for unlimited rides. The bus should return us to GP around 4:45pm.

Pricing: $55. This includes tubing and the bus. Click Here to make payment.

Lunch: Swimmers should bring their own lunch. We are going to stop for ice cream on the way back, so please send your swimmer with money.

Clothing: Please note that Flip-Flops are not allowed as footwear, due to safety concerns. It is recommended guests wear swimsuits and water shoes or something equivalent for the activity. Footwear with a strap around the ankle is required; guests without appropriate footwear will not be permitted on the trip. HFAC sells water shoes and straps for glasses (chums) on site.

Belongings: No belongings are allowed on the river, but belongings may be kept on the bus.
